Accessibility Statement

We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who use a keyboard alone, screen magnification or a screen reader.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML with a single clear heading structure on each page.
• A skip link to the main content, and visible focus styles throughout.
• Full keyboard operation, including the mobile navigation menu.
• Labels on every form field, with errors announced in text rather than colour alone.
• Text and interface colours chosen for contrast against their backgrounds.
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
• Layouts that reflow for small screens and tolerate increased text size.

Standard we work towards

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not commissioned an independent audit of this website, so we describe this as an aim rather than a certified conformance claim.

Known limitations

Some content is delivered by third-party services, such as web fonts and hosting, whose behaviour we do not fully control. Where we find an accessibility problem in our own content, we fix it as part of ordinary site maintenance.
